Rosaria Mendicino Vaccaro;89;of Westmoreland Manor;Greensburg;formerly of Belle Vernon;died Saturday;March 26;1988;at 9:45 a.m.in Westmoreland Hospital;Greensburg. Mrs.Vaccaro was born Oct.16;1898;in Italy;a daughter of the late Mike and Ann Mendicino. In addition to her parents;she was also preceded in death by her husband;John Vaccaro;who died Aug.27;1957;by three sons;Anthony;Eugene and Gasper Vaccaro;by two daughters;Mary Vaccaro and Julia DiNardo;and by one brother;D.A.Mendicino. A life-long resident of the Belle Vernon area;Mrs.Vaccaro was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Surviving are one son;Joseph Vaccaro;and a daughter-in-law;Patricia Devers Vaccaro;both of Belle Vernon;15 grandchildren;15 great-grandchildren;and one great-great-grandchild. Friends were received Sunday and will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. A Prayer Service will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.in the funeral home;followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
