Obituary

Rosalee Thompson, of Cherry Tree Nursing Home, Uniontown, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2004 in The Uniontown Hospital. She was born in Elizabeth, a daughter of the late Rev. John and Theofa Jeffries Hughes. A homemaker, she was a follower of the apostolic faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Thompson, three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by three brothers, Joseph Hughes, of Rochester, Robert Hughes of Clairton and Larry Hughes, of New Kensington, three sisters, June Scott of Hiller, Helen Barbour and husband Carl, of Donora, and Betty Sartor and husband, Deacon James E. Sartor, one loving brother-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends will be received Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. in the LAW FUNERAL HOME, 135 Angle St., Brownsville, and Saturday, Sept. 18 until 11 a.m., the hour of service in the funeral home with Evangelist Ann Webb, Cathedral of Faith, Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Thompson's niece, officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
