Ronald W. Arnie Ritchie; 49; of Anchorage; Alaska; went to be with our Lord on Saturday; April 26; 2008; following a terminal illness. He was a son of Miriam Rumbel Ritchie; who survives and resides in Monongahela; and the late John Jack Ritchie. Ron was Baptist by faith. He was a 1977 graduate of Ringgold High School. Ron was a construction worker and enjoyed fishing and hunting. In addition to his mother; he is survived two sisters; Michele Harris; of Duncannon; and Johnna (Randy) Gregg; of Monongahela; two brothers; Ray; of Alaska; and Don; of California; his maternal grandmother; Leah Stearns Rumbel; of Indiana; Pa.; three nieces; Victoria Harris; Aleigha Ritchie and Leanna Gregg; two nephews; Donnie Harris and Cody Gregg; a very good friend; Greg Peck and Angela; of Alaska; and his faithful dog; Bubba . In addition to his father; he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather; James Rumbel; and his paternal grandparents; William and Margaret Aitken Ritchie. Arrangements were entrusted to the EVERGREEN MEMORIAL CHAPEL in Anchorage. A memorial service will be held Saturday; May 17; at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church; 601 West Main St.; Monongahela.
