Romilda J. Nesti Iacoboni, 89, of North Belle Vernon, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014, at 2:21 a.m. at Monongahela Valley Hospital, Monongahela. Born April 17, 1925, in North Belle Vernon, she was the daughter of the late Ugo and Julia Dolfi Nesti. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon, Mrs. Iacoboni was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Ralph V. ",Val", Iacoboni to whom she was married 67 years, son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Rosemary Tenuta Iacoboni of North Belle Vernon, daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and Tom Mavrikas of North Belle Vernon, eight grandchildren, Angela Julie Iacoboni, Gina Lucia Iacoboni, Maria Rose Iacoboni, Ryan Mavrikas, Anthony Mavrikas, Dominic Mavrikas, Tessa Kennedy, and Cara Iacoboni, six great-grandchildren, and a sister and brother-in-law, Lorraine and Orland Giorgi of Charleroi. She was preceded in death by her son, Ralph Iacoboni, granddaughter, Julia Iacoboni, two sisters, Angeline Ferrari and Olga Vernaccini, and two brothers, Elmo Nesti and Emil Nesti. Private family visitation and funeral services were held Tuesday at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS , Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183, with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick, pastor, of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church officiating. Interment took place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
