Romano (PK) Rossi, 79,of Dunlevy,died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital,Friday, July 27,1956,at 2:29 a.m. Mr. Rossi was born in Pistoria,Italy,January 20,1877. He came to Dunlevy from Italy in 1901,and until his retirement in 1947,he operated a grocery store in Dunlevy. He was a member of the Garibaldi Beneficial Society of Dunlevy,the Italian Beneficial Society of Belle Vernon,and the N.I.P.A. lodge of Monessen. He is survived by his wife, Ernesta Lenzi Rossi,fve sons, Ramo, Roger,Ralph and Ronald,all of Dunlevy,and Thomas Rossi of San Francisco,California,one daughter, Mrs. Rena Santavicca of Dunlevy,one sister, Mrs. Ida Corsini of Paterson,New Jersey and eleven grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Requiem High Mass will be sung in the Mother of Sorrows Church, Charleroi,Monday, July 30,1956,at 10 a.m. by Rev. J.J. Thomas,and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Freguson is the funeral director.
