Obituary
Rolomae Holmes,51,of Cleveland,Ohio,and former area resident,died at her home,Monday, April 2,1962,at 4:30 a.m. She was a member of the St. James A.M.E. Church in Charleroi. Surviving are her husband, Harry; her step-father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton (Dell) Williams of Belle Vernon; six brothers, Bill, George, Coleman, and Coma Shine,all of Cleveland and Albert and Jay D. Shine of Georgia,four sisters, Mary and Essiemae Shine,both of Cleveland,Mrs. Mary Smith of Butler and Dorothy Williams of Clairton. Friends will be received at the DuBois H. Carter Funeral Home in Monessen after 7 p.m. on April 3. Thereafter visiting hours will be from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will take place Thursday April 5,at 10 a.m. from the St. James A.M.E.Church in Charleroi in charge of the Rev. Harold Williamson,assisted by the Rev. H.F. Coffey. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. DuBoise H. Carter,funeral director.
