Rodney L. Skinny Kiefer;58;of 409 Railroad St.;Stockdale;died suddenly Friday;April 16;1993;at his home. He was born March 28;1935;in North Charleroi;a son of the late John and Lavurn Worley Kiefer. A former resident of Monessen and Belle Vernon;he was employed at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel’s Allenport plant. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by three brothers;Larry;Raymond and Milton. Survivors include a son;Kerry L.Kiefer of Belle Vernon;three sisters;Mrs.Robert (Frances) Lowe and Mrs.John (Elma) Mudron;both of Monessen;and Olive Staley of Donora;one brother;Donald Kiefer of Monessen;nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Stephen D.Yoney Jr.Funeral Home;First Street and Schoonmaker Avenue;Monessen;where services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. with the Rev.Conrad Auel;pastor of the First Christian Church of Monessen;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Stephen D.Yoney Jr.Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
