Roger Bauthier, aged 40,one of Belle Vernon's best known citizens,died Friday morning, December 2,1932,at the Memorial hospital in Monongahela following an operation. Mr. Bauthier was removed to the hospital Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock and his death came as a surpise to his many friends,as he was about town only a few hours before being taken to the institution. He was suffering from a stomach ailment and failed to rally after the operation. The deceased is a native of Belle Vernon,having been born here. His parents,Mr.and Mrs. Emile Bauthier,survive. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 o'clock from his late home,514 Baltimore street,in charge of Rev. Howard T. Curtiss,pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. Interment will be made in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
