West;Co.E.315th Infantry;79th Division;who was killed in France on November 15;1944;will arrive in Charleroi Monday evening;August;23;1948;at 6:43 p.m.and will be taken;with a military escort;to the Toner Funeral Home in Belle Vernon. He is survived by his parents;Rev.Samuel Ellsworth and Alma Gertrude Paulson West of Perryopolis R.D. Reverend West was a former pastor of the Free Methodist Church;Belle Vernon;and Private West attended the Belle Vernon Schools. Surviving besides his parents;are two sisters;Mrs.Sara Jean Wilbraham of Perryopolis and Dorothy West;at home;six brothers;Sam of Gillespie;Oliver of Perryopolis;Ray of Belle Vernon R.D.;and Charles;Howard and David;at home. Friends will be received in the Toner Funeral Home until Wednesday;August 25;1948;at 2 p.m.when funeral services will be held with military honors by the Belle Vernon Post 659;of the American Legion. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
