Roberta Lee (Harris) Strong 79;of Boston;Mass.;formerly of Belle Vernon;died at her home on Saturday;Oct.7;1978. She was 79. Born in Virginia on July 26;1899;she was the daughter of the late Mr.and Mrs.Robert Harris of Belle Vernon. A retired school teacher;she was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter. She is survived by a son;Lonnie Lee Emerson of Boston and a daughter;Mrs.Roberta Baskerville of Boston;seven grandchildren;and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Antioch Baptist Church;Henry St.;Belle Vernon;on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. The hour of service will be at 11 a.m. with the Rev.Luther Wormack officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City.
