Robert W. Morton; 81; of Belle Vernon (Rostraver Township); died Friday; Feb. 16; 2007; in Mon Valley Hospital Inc. He was born Aug. 12; 1925; in Rostraver Township; the son of the late Samuel and the late Elizabeth A. Warbutton Morton. He was a member of Long Branch Methodist Church and retired from Corning Class Co. Surviving are two sons; Robert W. Morton Jr. and Edward J. Morton Sr.; both of Eldora; a daughter; Alexandria E. Vitale; of Eldora; a sister; Dolores Federer and husband Fred; of Belle Vernon; four grandchildren; Gerald Vitale Jr. and wife Brenda; Heather L. Wollett and husband Michael; Jenifer M. Morton and Edward J. Morton Jr.; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; June Eltringham Morton. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; 334 Main St.; Fayette City on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Terry Teluch officiating. Interment will be private for the family.
