Robert S. Igoe,44,a native of Belle Vernon,was electrocuted when he accidentally stepped on a charged wire at Lodi, Ohio. on September 22,1947. He leaves his widow, Lucille, his mother,Mrs. Mary Igoe,both of Akron and two brothers.William of Locust street,Belle Vernon and James of Akron. The body is being shipped to Belle Vernon for interment. According to word received by relatives,Mr. Igoe,who had been living in Akron,was with two drivers waiting out a atorm. When Mr. Igoe left his truck,he stepped on the wire and was killed instantly. He formerly lived in the Lynnwood district before going to Ohio about four years ago. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home in Belle Vernon,where services will be held Thursday,Sept. 25 at 2 p.m. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner, funeral director.
