Robert Regis Nevins;63;a former Charleoi resident;died Friday;May 30;1975;at 12:01 a.m.in McKeesport Hospital. Mr.Nevins had resided in Charleroi the past 25 years and had just moved to 320 28th St.;McKeesport;a few months ago. He was born in Belle Vernon on Feb.4;1912;son of the late Robert C.and Elizabeth L.Nevins; His mother died Dec.23;1974. Mr.Nevins was a machinist for the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad. He was a veteran of World War II;having served in the U.S.Army;and belonged to St.Peter’s Catholic Church;McKeesport;Veterans of Foreigh Wars Post 167 and American Legion Post 22;both of Charleroi. Surviving are a brother;William Nevins of Charleroi;two sisters;Mrs.William (Ellen) Newlon and Margaret Nevins;both of McKeesport;and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Harold L.Schrock Funeral Home;Charleroi;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday and Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11 a.m.in St.Jerome’s Catholic Church;Charleroi;with Msger.William Maher officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold L.Schrock Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
