Obituary

Robert P. Lofink,45,of Mesa,Ariz.,formerly of Fairhope,Belle Vernon,died suddenly Saturday,Aug.18,1990,in his home. Born Jan. 15,1945,in North Charleroi,he was the son of Thomas J.and Sophia (Sally) Catherine Deluga Lofink Sr.of Fairhope,who survive.  Mr. Lofink was catholic by faith.  He was employed as an electronics maintenance man for Die-Air in Mesa,Ariz. He was a 20-year member of the Air National Guard.  In addition to his parents,he is survived by his wife, Susan Lofink;two brothers,Thomas Lofink Jr.of Fairhope and Col.William Lofink of Coraopolis;and two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Kathleen) Falise of McKees Rocks and Mrs. Eugene (Marlene) Updegraff of Greensburg.  Friends will be received in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and until 9:30 a.m. Thursday,when a Prayer service will be held in the funeral home,followed by a 10 a.m.Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church,Fayette City,with the Rev. Richard Mackiewicz,pastor,as celebrant.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
