Robert Nicholas Bennett, age two and one-half years old,son of Mr. and Mrs. nicholas Bennett of Arnold City,died Friday, April 13,1945,in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital of burns suffered the previous Saturday when he fell into a tub of scalding water. The child was playing in the kitchen of the home and in an unguarded moment, toppled into the boiling water which had been drawn for washing. The parents,a brother and the grandparents survive. He was a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Aldridge of Arnold City and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bennett, of Arnold City. Friends will be received at the late home,House 106,Arnold City. Services will be held there Monday,April 16,1945,at 4 p.m. Rev. Hill will have charge of services. George M. McCrory and Son are the funeral directors.
