Obituary

Robert L. Tintori, 86, of Belle Vernon, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in Allegheny General Hospital. A son of the late Alfred R. and Elsie Mae Bradock Tintori, he was born in N. Charleroi on November 22, 1930. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, he was protestant by faith and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Bob retired in 1982 from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Company and was an avid golfer at both Willowbrook and Cedarbrook golf courses and had the distinction of having seven holes-in-one in his lifetime. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Jean Dietrich Tintori, one daughter and son-in-law, Jan and David Rosenau of Upper Marlboro, MD, two sisters, Lorraine Furr of Beauford, SC and Jean Broda of Uniontown and two grandchildren, Justin Rosenau of Upper Marlboro, MD and Capt. Tyler Rosenau, serving in the U.S. Marine Corp., currently stationed in Pensacola, FL. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.
