Robert L.Lenhart;49;of 221 Water St.;Belle Vernon;died Friday;Nov.21;1997;at home. Born Nov.27;1947;he was the son of the late Norman and Margaret Hazuga Lenhart. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon;Mr.Lenhart was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was a life member of the Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Company and served as president of the fire line officers through the years. He was a member of the Fayette County Firemen’s Association;the Western Pennsylvania Firemen’s Association;Southwestern Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs Association and the Pennsylvania State Firemen’s Association. He was employed by the Municipal Authority of Belle Vernon and was a U.S.Army veteran of the Vietnam era. Survivors include his fiancee;Gay Bethem of Belle Vernon;two sons;Robert C.Lenhart of Charleroi and Aaron J.Lenhart of Belle Vernon;one daughter;Emilee R.Lenhart of Charleoi;one brother;James R.Lenhart of Millersville;Md.;and three sisters;Mrs.Otha (Elizabeth) Davis of Salt Lake City;Utah;Mrs.Larry (Diana) Smaldon of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Clarence (Velma Jean) Fine of Elizabeth. Friends will be received Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Burial will be on Tuesday;Nov.25;1997;in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
