Robert John Hatalowich,age 67, of Perryopolis, PA passed away January 11, 2016 in the Monongahela Valley Hospital. He was born on June 12, 1948, a son of the late William Hatalowich, Sr. and Katherine Mohus Hatalowich. In addition to his mother he is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; son Robert J. Hatalowich; siblings: William Hatalowich Jr. and his wife Wendy of Perryopolis, Georgiann Slebodnik and her husband Larry of Perryopolis, Marilyn Smalley of Perryopolis, Michael Hatalowich and his wife Donna of Fayette City, Patricia Minor and her husband Ron of Perryopolis; several nieces and nephews. Robert graduated from Frazier High School and retired as a heavy equipment operator from Black Mountain, Inc. He was always there with a helping hand and enjoyed: hunting, fishing, repairing lawn mowers and equipment. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.Robert’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Thursday, January 14, 2016 in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, Inc., 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA 15473. A Parastas Service will take place in the funeral home at 7:15 PM on Thursday. A Funeral Service will take place in the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church 222 Mary Street, Belle Vernon, PA at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 15, 2016 with the Very Reverend Samuel Smolcic, officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
