Robert James Mazzei; 56; of Wilton Manors; Fla.; formerly of Belle Vernon; died Friday; Feb. 1; 2002; in Florida. A son of Angelo and Marie Petroff Mazzei of Belle Vernon; he was born in North Charleroi on June 17; 1945. Catholic by faith; he had resided in Florida since 1985 and was self-employed as a painter. He had served in the U.S. Army Reserves. In addition to his parents; he is survived by a brother and sister-in-law; William and Jane Mazzei of North Olmsted; Ohio; two nieces; Catherine Mazzei of Austin; Texas; and Karen Mazzei of San Clemente; Calif.; several aunts and uncles. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC.; a Golden Rule Member Firm; 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon; where a Blessing service will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Wednesday at 3 p.m.; led by members of St. Sebastian Parish.
