Robert James Heide;54;of 138 Kelly Ave.;Belle Vernon;died on Thursday;July 13;1989;at 5:40 a.m.in Presbyterian University Hospital;Pittsburgh. He was born Oct.7;1934;in Belle Vernon;a son of the late Robert J.Heide. Mr.Heide was also preceded in death by his grandparents;Frank and Sarah McLaughlin Hart. He is survived by his wife;Norma Erdos Heide;one son;Jimmy Heide at home;and his mother;Jean Hart Heide of Belle Vernon. Mr.Heide was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon and a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. He was a 1953 graduate of Bellmar High School in North Belle Vernon. Mr.Heide was employed for 30 years as a systems technician for Bell Telephone and AT&T. He was a member of the Russian Club of Charleroi. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Prayer service will be held on Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m.in the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
