Robert J. Pasterick of 357 McGeary Ave.,Monessen,died Saturday, Nov. 29,1980 in Washington Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 56. Mr. Pasterick was born Oct. 10,1924,in North Braddock,a son of the late John Pasterick Sr.,who died in 1955,and Susan Antolik Pasterick, who survives,of Monessen. He retired from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.in 1978. Mr. Pasterick was a member of Most Holy Name of Jesus Christ Church and Thomas McKeee American Legion Post 28, both of Monessen. In addition to his father,he was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn,in 1980 and a brother, John,in 1977. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are one daughter,Lynette Pasterick of Monessen, three sisters, Mrs. Marie Seist of Lawrence Harbor,N.J.,Mrs. Paul (Pauline) Senich and Miss Irene Pasterick,both of Monesen,and one bother, Edward Pasterick of Bowie, Md. Friends will be received in the Rhome Funeral Home,Inc.,1209 Grand Blvd.,Monessen after 7 p.m.Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. A Prayer service will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. to be followed a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Most Holy Name of Jesus Christ Church, Monessen. The Rev. James Petrovsky will be the celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home,Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
