Robert J.Mclaughlin;77;of 46 Donner Ave.;Monessen;died Sunday;June 13;1976;at 3:40 a.m.in Greensburg. He had been ill for sometime. Mr.McLaughlin was born at Turtle Crek on May 17;1899 and had lived in Monessen most of his life. He was an employee of the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.and retired from the No.1 Rod Mill 12 years age. He was a member of the Retired United Steelworkers of Monessen. Survivors include his widow;Gladys Fleming McLaughlin;one daughter;Mrs.Francis (Mary) E.Miller of Harrisburg;two sons;Robert C.McLaughlin of Belle Vernon and James W.McLaughlin of Belle Vernon;eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday;June 14;and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday;June 15. Services will be held Wednesday;June 16;at 9 a.m. in the Rhome Funeral Home Chapel;with the Rev.Howard E.Kennedy;pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Monessen;officiating.
