Robert J. Antonio; 60; of Monessen; died unexpectedly on Thursday; Dec. 26; 2002; in the emergency room of Mon Valley Hospital. He was born March 1; 1942; in Pittsburgh; a son of the late William and Evelyn Fitzpatrick Antonio. He was a resident of the Charleroi and Monessen areas most of his life; and a member of United Methodist Church of Monessen. Mr. Antonio was formerly employed as assistant meat manager for Thorofare Markets. Survivors include his wife of 39 years; Mary Lou (Dziak) Antonio; a son and daughter-in-law; R. Scott and Michele Antonio of Monessen; a daughter; Carmen Antonio of Monessen; two brothers and sisters-in-law; Gary and Evelyn Sessi of Calabash; N.C. and Richard Jackowski of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren; Alexandra; Nico and Gionni Antonio; a Godchild; Lesa Turkovich of Donora; and by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by several special aunts and uncles. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC.; 441 Reed Ave.; Monessen. Services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday; Dec. 30; with the Rev. Bruce Northey; pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Charleroi; officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
