He was a retired cement finisher. He was a member of Speers St. A.M.E. Church;Belle Vernon. Surviving are four daughters;Marjorie Woodson of Belle Vernon;Alice Mines of San Bernadino;Calif.;Elizabeth Smith and Bertha Gloster of Pittsburgh;three sons;Robert of Monessen;Derwood and Paul of Pittsburgh;21 grandchildren;42 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the George A.Warden Funeral Home;1100 N.Homewood Ave.;Pittsburgh;until Sunday at 1 p.m. After 6 p.m.;they will be received at the Speers St. A.M.E. Church;Belle Vernon;where a Masonic service will be held at 8 p.m. The funeral service will be Monday;June 19;at 2 p.m.at the church with the Rev.Major Parrish officiating.
