Obituary

Robert G.Forsythe,216 Wood St.,Belle Vernon,died Sunday,May 21,1972,at 2:30 a.m.in Mercy Hospital,Pittsburgh. He was retired in 1963 as yardmaster of the Monessen Southwestern Railroad of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon and Brotherhood of Railroad Trainman. Surviving are his widow,Della Rose,one son,James H.of Belle Vernon,one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren,two sisters,Mrs.William (Viola) Lytle of Ingram,Pa.,and Mrs. Carl (Fern) Richter of Browns Mills,N.J. Friends are being received from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,where a service will be held Wednesday,May 24,at 2 p.m.in charge of the Rev.Seth Bower of the First United Methodist Church,Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
