Obituary

Robert F. Bert O'Toole,69,formerly of Belle Vernon,died Monday,May 29,1995,at 1:45 a.m.in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born Nov.22,1925,in Monessen,he was a son of the late Thomas and Catherine Crowe O'Toole. Mr.O'Toole had resided in the Belle Vernon and Monessen area for many years. He was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. Mr.O'Toole was a U.S.Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include one daughter,Mrs.LLoyd (Kathleen) Driesen of Charleroi,three brothers,Thomas O'Toole of Allenport,Donald O'Toole of Belle Vernon and Joseph O'Toole of Monessen,four sisters,Mrs.Melvin (Alice) Tressler of Monessen,Mrs.August (Josephine) Rigotti of Pittsburgh,Mrs.Gust (Patricia) Ostetrico of Monongahela and Mrs.Joe (Gerturude) Zoretich of Bentleyville,one granddaughter,Renee Bates,two great-grandchildren,Courtney and Codey,and a special friend,Janet,with whom he made his home. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by three brothers,Michael,Martin and John O'Toole,and two sisters,Ellen Glaspey and Kathleen Bednarczyk. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a prayer service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.,followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.in St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,with the Rev.John R.Cindric,pastor,as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Belle Vernon Knights of Columbus 3026 will conduct services Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.in the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributons to the Arthritis Foundation. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
