Mr.McLaughlin was born March 7;1914;in Monessen;a son of the late Robert M.and Dora Forsythe McLaughlin. He was a former craneman with the Monessen Page Division of American Chain and Cable Co.and was also employed for 14 years at Stranko Lanes;Monessen. Mr.McLaughlin was a member of the First Christian Church;Monessen. Surviving are his wife;Doris Hepple McLaughlin;two sons;James McLaughlin of San Antonio;Tex.;and Richard McLaughlin of Belle Vernon;three grandchildren;two sisters (Gale (Edwina) Johnson & another sister) both of Monessen;and three brothers;David and William McLaughlin;both of the state of California;and Mark Mclaughlin of Atlantic City;N.J. Friends will be received at the Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Rhome funeral home Chapel with the Rev.Conrad Auel;pastor;First Christian Church;Monessen;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
