Obituary

Robert E. Sethman, 74, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002, at 6:10 a.m. at his home. Born Feb. 19, 1928, in Yukon, he was a son of the late Robert and Helen Hails Sethman. He was a resident of Rostraver Township for the past 45 years and a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon. Mr. Sethman was a retired, self-employed auto mechanic and had also worked at the former Page's Chain and Cable in Monessen. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Sethman is survived by his wife, Mildred Salsovic Sethman, to whom he was married 53 years, one daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Douglas Johnson of Belle Vernon, one son, Robert E. Sethman of Greensburg, three brothers and one sister-in-law, Harry Sethman of South Dakota, Kenneth and Barbara Sethman of Masontown, and William Sethman of the state of California, three sisters and brothers-in-law, Ethel and Charles Krasonic of West Newton, Eileen and Philip Tominello of Belle Vernon, and Janice and Paul Ceasare of Florida, six grandchildren, Jennifer, Scott, Matthew, David and Brian Johnson, and Robert Sethman, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. Prayer service will be held Tuesday at 10:45 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:15 a.m. in St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. John R. Cindric, V.F., pastor, officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian Parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Robert E. Sethman Monday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
