Robert Dudgeon,50,of 836 McKean avenue,Donora,died suddenly Monday,July 9,1956,at 4:50 p.m. while returning from work at the Standard Dry Wall Co.in New Eagle. He was born Jan.1,1906 in Pricedale and was a former resident of Belle Vernon. He had lived in Donora for 12 years and was a member of Donora Lodge 626,Free and Accepted Masons. The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillian Dudgeon,two sons, Robert of Charleroi and Terry,at home;one daughter,Mrs. Keith Benson,with her husband who is stationed in London,England. Also surviving are two brothers,Alexander and James,of Monessen and two sisters,Mrs. Harold Williams of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Arthur Aspy of Clarksburg,W.Va.,and one grandchild. Friends are being received at the Lawson Funeral Home,Donora,where funeral services will be held Thursday,July 12,at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. Harry Coleman,Jr.,of the Presbyterian Church, Donora. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Richard Lawson,funeral director.
