Robert Bonucci; 80; of Rostraver Township; passed away Friday; Jan. 14; 2005; in Mon Valley Hospital. A son of the late Alex and Mary Harding Bonucci; he was born in Scottdale on March 3; 1924. Mr. Bonucci was a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps; serving during World War II; and retired from the former Page Wire and Cable Company in Monessen. Formerly of Fayette City; he had resided in Rostraver Township since 1988. Survivors include a son; Robert Bonucci Jr. of Fayette City; a daughter; Rose M. Cowart; with whom he made his home; four grandchildren; Robert and Jodie Bonucci and James and William Cowart Jr.; and three great-grandchildren; Lindy Proud and Colette and William Cowart III. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife; Josephine Lidey Bonucci; on June 29; 1993; and a grandson; Robert C. Cowart; on Feb. 16; 1998. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE; (724-929-5300); a Golden Rule Member Firm; 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Monday; Jan. 17; at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Tim McConville officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
