Robert Sickles,aged four years,of Gibsonton,died in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital, Wednesday,January 8,1935 from a skull fracture and internal hurts as the result of being run down by an automobile reported to have been driven by Robert Allen of Belle Vernon, The Sickles boy is the son of Mr.and Mrs.Jack Sickles. He had been playing with several children near the highway and is reported to have dashed out into the path of Mr. Allen's machine. Fortunate Mr. Allen was not speeding and he was able to swing far enough to avoid running over the prostrate child after he was struck by the side of the car.
