Obituary

Robert Blaine Grove,59,of Belle Vernon R.d.5,was killed in a car accident Wednesday,Oct.28,1981 on Route 51,Perry Twp. He was the owner and operator of Bob Grove's Used Cars,Route 201,Rostraver Twp.,for over 30 years. He was born Dec.28,1921,in Pittsburgh,the son of the late Blaine F.Grove and Mary S.Hough Grove of Belle Vernon R.D.5,who survives. Mr.Grove had resided at Belle Vernon R.D.5 since 1958,having formerly lived in Smithton. He was a member of the Char-Belle Free Methodist Church,Belle Vernon. In addition to his mother,Mr.Grove is survived by his widow,Patricia L.Evick Grove,three sons,Robert B.Jr.,Dennis A.and James F.,all at home,two daughters,Mrs.Kerry (Debbie) Wecast of New Jersey and Mrs.Ronald (Susan) Dalrymple of Perryopolis,and one grandson,Steven Dalrymple. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguosn Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon Thursday, from 7 to 9 p.m. Private vsitation will be held Friday,Oct.30,1981,until 1 p.m.,the time of service at the funeral home. Officiating will be the Rev.Walter Kirkland,pastor of the Char-Belle Free Methodist Church. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
