Robert B.Koller;80;of Fairhope;Belle Vernon;died Tuesday;July 17;2001;in Kindred Hospital. He was born Jan.14;1921;in Denmark;Iowa;a son of the late John and Helena Christman Koller. He was a member of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church. He was a U.S.Navy veteran of World War II;a member of Brightwell-Daugherty Post 484 American Legion;Fayette City. He was a retired crane operator for the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Company. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Eleanor Lovas Koller;two brothers;Frank snd Earl Koller and two sisters;Lillian Diton and Esther Parker. Survivors include his children;Russell L.Koller and wife Lek of Las Vegas;Nev.;Robert S.Koller and wife Cynthia of Uniontown;Sherry Pierce and husband Richard D.of Vestaburg;sisters;Maxine Davis of Okemos;Mich.;and Faye Hervey of Brownsville;Texas;and three grandchildren;Stephen Koller;Richard K.and Rachel L.Pierce. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.;334 Main St.;Fayette City;on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday until 11 a.m.when funeral services will be held at Lynnwood Lutheran Church;with Pastor Donald Chudd officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lynnwood Lutheran Church;Belle Vernon;in memory of Robert B.Koller.
