Richard Robert “Rick” Angelo, 72, from Isabella, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. “Pubba” as his surviving brothers, Gregory Phillip Angelo and Vincent Louis (Barbara) Angelo, nicknamed him will remember him best as the family storyteller.
He worked in the construction industry for over 50 years and retired as a highway inspector. He loved carpentry, computers and playing his hammond organ and harmonica. His love for the Pittsburgh Pirates and baseball will live forever through his family.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Tammy Chalfant Angelo; daughter, Consuella; son Rocco and his wife, Carrie; son, Dino; stepdaughters, Tanya and Tamara (Jerome); and stepson, Stephen.
He leaves behind his loving grandchildren: Carter, Alexandria (Corey), Emily, Nicolas, Phillip, Camron, Christian and Bentley; and great-granddaughter, Olivia “Livi”. They often referred to him as “Grandude” and he will always be remembered as their fun “Grandad” who loved them so much.
Rick also has many nieces and nephews he loved very much and thought of often.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Annaglad Joseph Angelo and Anna Marie Montinino Angelo; his sister, Anna Marie Angelo Lyons; his first wife and the mother of his children, Sharon Lee Angelo; his sister-in-law, Joyce Angelo; and son-in-law, Ernie Smith.
The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice Care and all the nurses and staff that took loving care of Rick.
Arrangements are private and under the direction of the DeGUSIPE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 65 N. Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, Stacey A. Dolfi, FD.
