Richard T.Allen;40;of 263 Schoonmaker Ave.;Monessen;died Thursday;April 2;1970 at 6 p.m.at his late residence. Mr.Allen had been under medical care for some time. He was born in Monessen and had been employed as a welder at the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;Allenport Plant;for the past 20 years. He served with the U.S.Army during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his widow;Joann Treater;one daughter;Vickie Lynn;at home;two sisters;Mrs.George (Lois) Zurich of Charleroi and Mrs.Howard (Mary ann) Moore of Ellwood City;a brother;Charles of Cleveland;Ohio. Friends are being received at the Rhome Funeral Home;Monessen after 7 p.m.today where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
