Richard M.McLain;72;of 1005 Hill St.;Belle Vernon;died Monday;Dec.23;1963;after a lingering illness. Mr.McLain had been employed with the Pittsburgh Steel Co.;Gibsonton yard;retiring from there in 1956. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. Surviving are four daughters;Mrs.Elmer (Helen) Fee of Uniontown;Mrs.John (Savilla) Nole and Naomi McClain;both of Belle Vernon;and Mrs.James (Ruth) Wheatley of Charleroi R.D.1;one son;Harold of Belle Vernon R.D.3;two sisters;Mrs.Charles (Amy) Holt of Ohiopyle;and Mrs.Harry (Daisy) Cox of Coshocton;Ohio. Friends will be received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home in Belle Vernon after 7 p.m. Dec.25. Visiting hours will then be 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Service there Friday;Dec.27;at 2 p.m.in charge of the Rev.Lloyd Erb;pastor of Pricedale Union Church. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
