Obituary

 

Richard M.McLain,72,of 1005 Hill St.,Belle Vernon,died Monday,Dec.23,1963,after a lingering illness.  Mr.McLain had been employed with the Pittsburgh Steel Co.,Gibsonton yard,retiring from there in 1956.  He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.  Surviving are four daughters,Mrs.Elmer (Helen) Fee of Uniontown,Mrs.John (Savilla) Nole and Naomi McLain,both of Belle Vernon,and Mrs.James (Ruth) Wheatley of Charleroi R.D.1,one son,Harold of Belle Vernon R.D.3,two sisters,Mrs.Charles (Amy) Holt of Ohiopyle,and Mrs.Harry (Daisy) Cox of Coshocton,Ohio.  Friends will be received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home in Belle Vernon after 7 p.m. Dec.25.  Visiting hours will then be 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.  Service there Friday,Dec.27,at 2 p.m.in charge of the Rev.Lloyd Erb,pastor of Pricedale Union Church.  Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
