Richrd Shank,69,of 548 Donner Ave.,Monessen,died Monday, March 2,1992,in the emergency room of Mon Valley Hospital,after having been stricken at his residence. He was born in Jeannette on Sept. 25,1922,and had been a lifelong resident of Monessen. Mr. Shank retired from the Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co., having worked in the car repair shop. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church of Monessen, the American Legion Post 28 of Monessen,the VFW Post 167 of Charleroi,the Veterans Club of Charleroi and MARS. Mr. Shank has no known survivors. Friends will be received at the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.,1209 Grand Blvd,Monessen,Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday at 10 a.m. Intermenrt will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home Inc.,is in charge of the arrangements.
