Richard Johns,aged 61 years,of 1217 Lookout avenue,Charleroi,died at his late home Monday,July 21,1941 at 8:30 o'clock after being ill for several years. Mr.Johns who was born in Germany,a son of John Johns and Elizabeth Kline Johns,had lived in Charleroi for forty-two years. He came here from Pittsburgh. The deceased was a member of St. Jerome's Roman Catholic Church. He leaves his wife,Ms.Elizabeth Johns;two sons,William and Richard Johns Jr.,of New York;two daughters,Mrs.Eleanor Dei Cas of Charleroi and Dolores at home;one brother,Fred Johns of Pittsburgh and one sister,Mrs.Margaret Verherlig of East McKeesport. Friends are being received at the Slezak Funeral Home until the hour for funeral services at 9 a.m. Thursday,July 24,in St.Jerome's R.C.Church. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rev.Peter J.Brennan will be in charge. Francis C.Slezak is the funeral director.
