Richard H. Pearce; 87; of Monessen; died Thursday; Sept. 29; 2011; in the Golden Living Center; South Hills. Born in Monessen on Aug. 27; 1924; he was the son of the late William J. and Ethel (Walker) Pearce. Richard had been employed by Miller Moving Company. He is survived by his brother; Edward D. (Melanie A.) Pearce; of Belle Vernon; three sisters; Shirley (Melvin) Romestan; of Burgettstown; Sarah Stangroom; of Rostraver Township; and Dolores (Kenneth) Cekus; of Monongahela; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by a brother; James A. Pearce. Friends will be received on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon in the JAMES C.
