Richard F. Klanchar; 66; of Fallowfield Township; died Sunday; May 8; 2005 in Mon Valley Hospital. A son of the late John and Helen Tordi Klanchar; he was born in North Charleroi on Dec. 11; 1938. Lutheran by faith; he had resided in Fallowfield Township for the past 35 years and was formerly of Belle Vernon. Survivors include his companion; Henrietta Mikels; a daughter; Cynthia Smith of Charleroi; four sons and 3 daughters-in-law; Daniel Klanchar of Charleroi; Donald and Rebecca Klanchar of Eighty Four; Darrell and Sandy Klanchar of Roscoe and Dennis and Vickie Klanchar of Ft. Myers; Fla.; two brothers and sisters-in-law; Robert and Marlene Klanchar of Belle Vernon and Kenneth and Henrietta Klanchar of Belle Vernon (Fairhope); nine grandchildren; Cheresse and Lotoya Smith; and Ryan; Josh; Cecelia; Derrick; Mandy; Paul and Cody Klanchar; and two great-grandchildren; Alize and Aiden Gernot. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE; (724-929-5300); a Golden Rule Member Firm; 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be in the funeral home Wednesday; May 11 at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Jack Hernstrom officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
