Obituary

Richard D.Junk,317 Chestnut street,died Thursday,Jan.18,1951,at 3:20 a.m.after a lingering illness. The deceased was employed at the gate shop of the Pittsburgh Steel Company. He was born in Charleroi and came to Monessen in 1936 and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife,Mrs.Lillian Gagatko Junk,a daughter,Nancy Lee,his parents,Mr.and Mrs.Harry C.Junk,Monessen,three brothers,Joseph and Harry Jr.,Monessen and John,Donora,and two sisters,Betty and Beverly Ann Junk,Monessen. Friends will be received at the Check Home for Funerals. Services will be held Monday,January 22,1951,at 2 p.m.in the First Presbyterian Church in Monessen,and interment will follow in Belle Vernon. Joseph R.Clark is the funeral director.
