Richard C.Risley;61;of 314 Center St.;Belle Vernon;died Saturday;July 22;1995;at 10:30 a.m.in his residence. Mr.Risley was born Oct.30;1933;in Manchester;Conn.;a son of the late John and Winifred Cooley Risley. He was employed as transportation supervisor for the Belle Vernon Area School District for the past 22 years. Mr.Risley came to Belle Vernon in 1967 from Manchester;Conn. He was a member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post No.659 and the National Rifle Association and was a volunteer member of the Washington Township-Fayette City Community Ambulance Service (CAS). Surviving are his wife;Doris White Risley;one son and daughter-in-law;William and Darlene Wall of Belle Vernon R.D.4;two daughters;Mrs.Bradley (Marcella) Kiefer of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Virgil (Patti Jo) Diamond of Grindstone;three grandchildren;Richard Vitale Jr.;Renee Lynn Wall and Katherine Leigh Diamond;four nephews and one niece. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home;with the Rev.Dr.Thomas St.Clair;pastor;First United Methodist Church;Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family suggests contributions in Mr.Risley’s memory may be made to the Washington Township-Fayette City Communty Ambulance Service. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is handling arrangements.
