Richard Allen Consonery of 231 Washington Ave.;Charleroi;drowned accidentally in the Monongahela River at Charleroi on Monday;June 18;1984;at 6:45 p.m. He was 26. Mr.Consonery was born in North Charleroi on Jan.23;1958;a son of Joseph and Cora Belle Ellis Consonery;both of whom survive and live in Charleroi. He was Protestant by faith and was employed by the Corning Glass Works of Charleroi. In addition to his parents;he is survived by his wife;Dorean DeSellems Consonery;a son;Richard Allen Jr.;two brothers;Kimmey Consonery of Daytona Beach;Fla.;and Joseph Consonery Jr.of Charleroi;five sisters;Sharon Monack of McDonald;Pamela Solomon of Oakdale;Mary Sezawich of Charleroi;Jackie Consonery of Donora and Debra Consonery of Monessen;seven nieces and seven nephews. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City after 7 p.m.Tuesday;on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and on Friday until 11 a.m.when services will be held at the funeral home with Pastor James M.Brown of Charleroi Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCory Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
