Reno Sylvester;805 Graham St.;Belle Vernon;died Thursday;Oct.26;1978 in Mon Valley Hospital.  He was 69.  Born in Belle Vernon;Sept.5;1909;he had spent his entire life in the Belle Vernon area.  Mr.Sylvester retired in 1972 as superintendent of the Strip Mill at the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;Allenport plant.  He was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon.  He was preceded in death by his first wife;Bernadine Sylvester;on Jan.3;1971.  Mr.Sylvester is survived by his second wife;Florence;one son;Michael R.Sylvester of Belle Vernon;two daughters;Mrs.Harold (Maureen) Jenkins of Charleroi R.D.2;and Mrs.Dell (Valerie)  Rathe of Lincoln;Neb.;two sisters;Mrs.Clara Marini and Mrs.Jessie Dawson;both of Belle Vernon;and seven grandchildren.  Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;on Saturday at 1 p.m.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  A wake service will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m.at the funeral home.  Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director;is in charge of arrangements.
