Renato ‘Reno’ Monticelli; 78; of Belle Vernon; passed away Wednesday; January 18; 2012 in Mon Valley Hospital. A son of the late Riccardo and Rosina Cheli Monticelli; he was born in Belle Vernon on April 8; 1933. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; he was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and retired in 1982 from the Charleroi Area School District where he was a bus driver and also worked in the maintenance department. Survivors include three nieces and four nephews; Jordan Benedetti of South Park; Pola Dugan of Irwin; Lorraine Koper of Monessen; Danny Monticelli of Rostraver Twp.; Richard Krasula of Libertyville; IL; Darlene Fograse of Plainsfield; IL and Val Benedetti of Boca Raton; FL and many great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by three sisters; Zuara Benedetti; Rena Krasula and Argia Monticelli and one brother; Mario Monticelli. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.
