Reed (LaRue) Street Jr.; 56; of Monessen; died Thursday; Oct. 17; 2002; in Canonsburg Hospital. He was a retired career serviceman with the U.S. Army. He was born Feb. 20; 1946; in Winston-Salem; N.C.; a son of the late Reed and Bernice Street. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by one brother; Walter Street; and three sisters; Diane Eubanks; Brenda Street and Sandra Robertson. He leaves to cherish his memory his fiancee; Sarah Davis; one daughter; Ariana York of Monessen; three sons; Laron York; LaRue York and Eddie York; all of Detroit; Mich; one stepson; Jamie Watkins of Monessen; nine brothers and eight sisters-in-law; John and Connie Street; Charles and Michelle Street; James and Anita Street; Wendell and Carla Street; William and Tonya Street; Lawrence and Carla Street; and Kenneth Street; all of Pittsburgh; Richard and Shirette Street of Monessen; Ernest and Vicki Street of South Carolina; three sisters; Barbara Street of Mississippi; Corrie Street and Flora Street; both of Pittsburgh; one aunt; Doris Portis of Indianapolis; Ind.; two grandchildren; Heaven and Angelica York of Detroit; Mich.; and a host of nieces; nephews; relatives and friends. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Gate of Heaven Church of God in Christ; 644 Reed Ave.; Monessen; where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Elder William Bass officiating.
