Rebecca Renee Balentine, 50, of Connellsville, Pa. went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born on Friday, March 2, 1973, in Star Junction, (Fayette County) Pa., the daughter of Robert Edward Balentine Sr. and the late Rita Fern West Balentine. She worked at Mount St. Macrina in Uniontown, Pa as an LPN. Rebecca loved to attend church and Bible camp. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, sharing her creations and was an avid reader. She was the life of the party and lived to make others happy. Rebecca loved everything that had to do with Winnie the Pooh. She is survived by her brother; Robert Edward Balentine Jr. and his wife, Melissa of Perryopolis, Pa., a sister; Paula Gwen Balentine-Fike of Belle Vernon, Pa., her nephews; Michael and Ryan and many adopted nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank special friends; Rebecca Bradish, Tara Smith, Mary Mullins and Barb Wenner. A Celebration of Life will be held at Church of God Holiness in Greensburg, Pa. at a later date.
