Mr.Chilton was born in Fayette City;March 5;1903;a son of the late William and Georgia Chilton. He was a retired coal miner. Survivors include his widow;Hazel Simson Chilton;three daughters;Mrs.Leroy (Wanda) Colquitt and Mrs.Jesse (Gweneth) Tartt;both of Landover;Md. and Eleanor Chilton of Chicago;Ill.;two sons;William;at home and Wayne of Chicago;Ill.;five sisters;Rose;Edna;Helen;Nora and Felesia;all of Pittsburgh;five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends are being received after 7 p.m.Tuesday at Draper Funeral Home;Monessen;where funeral services will be held on Thursday;at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Henry F.Coffey officiating.
