Raymond R. Komperda; 72 of Washington Twp.; Belle Vernon; Pa; passed away Thursday; September 16; 2010 in his residence with his family by his side.

He was born June 4; 1938 in Brownsville; Pa.; Son of the late Andrew Komperda and the late Anna Marie Sabick Komperda. Ray was a banker for 30 years and financial advisor for Dr. Mahalingappa until 1995. He was an avid sports buff of all sports and No. 1 Steelers fan. He was a member of the Fayette City/Washington Twp Lions Club and Charleroi Rotary Club.

Surviving are his wife; Paula Jacques Komperda and Son; John Komperda of Belle Vernon; Aunt; Sarah Sabick and Cousin; Charlotte Sabick; close cousin Charles & Mary Jo Yetsconish and son Charles & Tina Yetsconish of Fayette City; William & Carmie Janeri; of Ohio; two close feline friends Iverson & Newman.
