Raymond Koslasky,Rear 235 Hoffman St. (Fairhope),Belle Vernon, died Friday, Jan. 14,1983 at 5:55 p.m. in Mercy Hospital,Pttsburgh. He was 61. Mr. Koslasky was born in Braznell on Nov. 22,1921, a son of Mary Varsel Koslasky, who resides in Belle Vernon,and the late Enoch Koslasky,Sr. He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon, the Fairhope Rod and Gun Club,Naomi Athletic Association,Fairhope VFW,and the Belle Vernon American Legion. He was employed at the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.,Allenport Plant. He served in World War II with the U.S.Army. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley E.,in 1959. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife,Alice Myrga Cope Koslasky; a daughter, Mary Rae Koslasky of Cleveland, Ohio; two step-daughers, Mrs. John W. Curry of Cleveland and Mrs. George Joseph,Jr.of Monessen; three step-sons,Matthew Cope of Everett,Wash.,Joseph Cope of Cleveland and Frank Cope of Fayette City; ten grandchildren; two brothers, Enoch,Jr. and Albert, both of Belle Vernon and a sister, Mrs. James (Jay) Paholski of Belle Vernon.Friends will be received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home.Fayette City, on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Prayer service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 9:30 a.m.,followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian R.C.Church.Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A Church wake service will be held Monday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
